2023 NBA Mock Draft Surprises near the top, a run on college stars in the second half of the lottery
As far as drama is concerned, the 2023 NBA Draft is delivering. With just a few days before the event, new names are popping up in the lottery and expectations are changing around the league. In the latest projection from 247Sports, we see a couple of surprises near the top of the lottery as well as a run on college stars in the second half of the top-10. After a strong run at the end of the college season, Arkansas guard Nick Smith has moved up into the top-5. Smith has shown great promise as a scorer and playmaker this past season, and his stock has risen as of late. Alabama forward Brandon Miller is another player who has seen his draft stock rise in recent weeks. Miller averaged 20.1 points per game for the Crimson Tide and impressed with his all-around game.
