Device Manager Fix
If the touchpad on your laptop has stopped working, you may be able to fix it by updating the driver. To do this, open Device Manager and click on the ACPIVEN_ASDDEV_0001 device that needs the driver. Then, click on the Update Driver button and select Search automatically for updated driver software.
Intel Driver Update
If Windows doesn't find an updated driver, you can try downloading the latest driver from the Intel website. To do this, go to the Intel Download Center and search for your laptop model. Once you've found the correct driver, download and install it.
